KYC Match

Secure user identification using verified mobile operator data

Presentation

The KYC Match API compares the information held by an online service about a given user with the data registered and verified by their mobile network operator as part of its own KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.

Based on the mobile number, the process compares the identification data [title, first name, last name, date of birth, postal address, email] declared by a user with the information stored by their mobile operator.

With this solution, service providers can:

Strengthen KYC (Know Your Customer) by securing user identification through mobile operator information. The data is verified by the mobile operator, and a match score is returned to the online service for each field:

  • Civility
  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Postal Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Email

Note: No personally identifiable information (PII) that directly identifies an individual is returned.
